Call of Duty World at War Wii Online in 2020

This is a workaround server to allow you to play Call of Duty: World at War online on the Wii again.
This still relies on Demonware/Activision's servers being up for the game.

How to Connect

To connect to the server, you need to have a Wii (or Wii U) with the Homebrew Channel installed.

BrainSlug Method (easiest)

This method requires that you have an SD card and a working disc copy of World at War.
BrainSlug created by Chadderz. HTTPS to HTTP module created by Toad King.

  1. Download BrainSlug with the World at War server module and extract the ZIP to the root of your SD card.
  2. Launch the Homebrew Channel on your Wii
  3. Select "BrainSlug Wii", then select Launch.
  4. After a few seconds, World at War should launch, and you should be able to connect online again.

Gecko/Ocarina Method

This method requires you have some way to load Gecko (sometimes refered to as 'Ocarina') codes on your Wii.
